Who We Are
AA Media Services was set up in 2003 to assist publishers entering, or wanting to expand their presence in, the Chinese market.
Our head office is in Shanghai, and is managed by Helen Li (Li Xiaofang). Helen, who has a master degree in business management from the UK as well as a BA in English language and literature in China, has worked in China’s higher education sector for 10 years.
Matthew Crabbe is Director of Access Asia Ltd, a research company based in Shanghai and specializing in consumer market analysis and business information. He has produced a number of reports on the academic and trade book markets in China, commissioned by commercial enterprises and publishers as well as the British Publishers’ Association.
Nicola Everitt studied in China in the 1980s and since then has accumulated over 15 years' experience of marketing UK and US books into China and other Asian countries, frequently visiting China and Hong Kong’s book importers, booksellers, institutions and libraries. Nicola now resides in Malaysia.
